Programs
Our program reflects a diverse set of influences and is designed to provoke wonder, curiosity and intellectual engagement, through hands on learning.
Our program emerges from the children’s interests and ideas and is then supported and extended by the staff.
We encourage parent participation as this is an integral part of our program.
Over the last six years we have co-ordinated home stays on behalf of the People to People Student Ambassador Program. We offer families an opportunity to provide overseas American students with some local hospitality by being a host family and billeting two students over a weekend.
Our light table encourages children to experiment with interesting pictures and objects.
We embrace community involvement in such things as:
- Early Childhood yoga lessons.
- Environmental education wildlife shows, chicken hatching.
- Interactive indigenous performance, introducing students to aboriginal culture
Learning about nature by collecting and sorting items.
